About Me

After having worked in the UK for 13+ years along with extensive training in fertility, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. I returned to India in 2017 and stated first branch of Genesis Fertility & Laparoscopy Centre in Kothapet, Hyderabad, second branch in 2022 and third upcoming branch is ready for inauguration in Jan 2024. I follow the highest standards of quality in clinical activity. I truly believe in the importance of providing a detailed explanation of the underlying health issues to all my patients. My experience of working in India, first as a consultant and then running her Hospital from 2000 to 2003 has helped me become aware of how patient care and expectations in India differs from that in the UK. I combine the knowledge of Indian practice and my experience of UK to offer the best-in-class fertility assistance for successful results to the childless couples attending treatment at Genesis

Research

PRECISE Study – Nov 14 – I was the Principal investigator for Bolton NHS Foundation Trust for this noninterventional study protocol PGL 11-020. This study is a multicentre retrospective drug utilisation chart review study reviewing Esmya® (Ulipristil) prescription patterns in Europe. We recruited 80 women in our hospital and submitted data for the multicentre trial. Women recruited belonged to both infertile and perimenopausal groups

INFANT Dec 2012 to May 2014 - I was the Principal investigator for Bolton NHS Foundation Trust for the INFANT Study, funded by the National Institute of Health Research Health Technology assessment (NIHR HTA). This is a multi-centre randomised controlled study to compare the effect of a computer based 'intelligent' system to support decision making in the management of labour using the cardiotocogram (CTG) by clinicians (midwives and doctors) versus review by clinicians (midwives and doctors) with no computer-based decision support in women who require continuous CTG monitoring of their labour. Our team won the Runner Up award in the ‘Research Team of the Year’ category in the Greater Manchester Clinical Research Awards 2013 for this study.

I’ve done research on ‘‘Comparison of vaginal prostaglandin and syntocinon infusion after cervical priming with intracervical prostaglandin gel in induction of labour’’ to obtain masters, MD in O & G postgraduate training from 1997-2000, at Government Maternity Hospital, Hyderabad, India.

Teaching & Training

I have always been passionate about teaching and appreciated the need for high standards in teaching, in order to ensure that the patient safety is not compromised. I provide juniors with high standards of learning opportunities. Enclosed below the list of teaching and training areas:
